My daughter just started singing this song after watching the episode. "Shake shake shake your peanuts. Maybe elephant will like it" Obviously she improvised the last part from what was actually said. I'm quite conservative, not a new age friend, and put a stop to it teaching her a new song to the same tune instead. Yes it is lewd. Disney is no saint just because they make things pretty and teach your kid to count to ten. Case in point- Tinkerbell.

Do you NOT here the word "NUT" at the end of PEA.... They are so not saying PEN*S. They are being overly dramatic when they swing their hips because its a show for young children. Children like things at are bright & colorful and on the dramatic side. My Daughter watched the same episode when she was @18 months and loved singing this song she had no problem saying PEANUT. Maybe with your children saying PEN*S and then you listening to it perhaps you thought you heard the same thing. I have no problem with Disney and I encourage parents to have their children watch things made by Disney-they are very educational and have taught my child alot.

@Andrew: the number of "worshipers" is a moot point. Every age has its one hit wonder; its idol; its object of worship. Darwin was but one, Calvin another...

I think that Chris Martin's 'Is everybody okay? Is everyone ready to go?' comment (twice) is really annoying. Why ask a question if the answer will never be no?

Is anyone going to say 'No, Chris, I'm not okay and I'm not ready to go. I'd like you to repeat that last song but at the right pace, please.'

or

'No Chris, I'm not happy with the concert so far and I want my money back. Where can I make a complaint?'

So I love the album and I love their generosity in making it available, but I cringe when I hear the question ...

Surely Darwin has had more 'worship' for his 150th birthday than Calvin? There are conferences, books, exhibitions, articles, blogs, websites, TV miniseries ...
