Hooray for the Writers Strike
It’s been a long time since the Writers Guild has done anything I wanted to get behind but finally they thought of something worthwhile. Thanks to the strike we won’t have to endure another season of 24 this year, many many other garbage programs will not air in January, and the worst sitcom on TV the Office has stopped it’s production. As I march right up to the picket line, to participate, my greatest hope of all is that this strike will last long enough to keep “Reality TV” from ever reappearing. If that is asking to much I would settle for the plague of all programing, American Idol, to be wiped from the earth and all our memories.

just another worthless blog

How bout just all TV can go away? Btw, have you seen the British version of the Office, the original, which the American version carbon copied? That show is pretty funny
@Don Juan, yes the British office is very funny. They know how to do TV over there 2 years and that’s it the shows done. None of this drawn-out, run a show into the ground stuff. The American’s ruined it with all this relationship nonsense.
Kerrin you are too funny. You make wasting time reading blogs worth while.
Aren’t you American? I mean- come on- you’ve been here much longer than you were there. You and my husband would definitely get along. He wasn’t even born there (his mom flew over when she was 8 months pregnant!) and he still thinks he’s British.
@Trill, I am an American when it’s convenient for me to be. Besides I’m not a TV producer/writer, which in this context, are the ones I am accusing of ruining the office. It’s their American-ness that is the distinctive problem with their writing producing.
Glad I could contribute to your unproductively!
OK- well I guess that explains it. I would love to see your review of Christmas movies! I can only imagine what you’d have to say.
@Trill, Oh boy do I have lots of worthless thoughts about Christmas not just the movies associated with it.
